Badminton club SERTINI Doboj continues to push the boundaries when it comes to professional work, development of young players and training of coaches. A new important step in this direction is the participation of club members in the **International Badminton Camp Karataš 2026**, one of the most important traditional badminton development gatherings in the region.

This year’s **International Badminton Camp/Prospective Athletes Camp** will be held at the Youth Sports Camp Karataš near Kladovo from **23rd to 31st July 2026**, organized by the Badminton Association of Serbia. During the same period, Karataš is also hosting the National Professional Seminar, as well as the Para badminton program “Para Kick Start Project 2026″.

Karataš has a special place in the badminton world. The Badminton Association of Serbia has been organizing camps for promising athletes since **1998**, and it is the Youth Sports Camp Karataš, with the exception of 2015 and 2016, that has hosted all of these badminton camps to date. Over the course of more than two decades, hundreds of athletes and coaches have passed through their programs, including European and world medal winners. The international character of the camp is also given by participants and experts from other countries.

The Karataš sports complex itself is located in the Kladovo area, at the entrance to the Đerdap Gorge, and is a specialized base for athletes’ training. It has a sports hall, gym, outdoor and indoor courts, a swimming pool, a sports clinic and other facilities necessary for a quality and intensive training process.

That is why, for the Badminton club SERTINI Doboj, a stay at Karataš is not just another trip or camp, but an opportunity to transfer the experience and knowledge gained in a serious sports system into the daily work of the club in Doboj.

SERTINI is represented at this year’s camp by coach **Dušica Klopić**, together with **Emilija, Aleksandra and Nađa**, who have days of intensive training, work, learning, new experiences and socializing with badminton players from the region ahead of them.

For a club that has based its development from the very beginning on education, working with youth, inclusion and connecting with the badminton community beyond the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this experience represents a logical continuation of the journey.

The SERTINI Badminton Club would like to express its special gratitude to **Raša, Miodrag, Barbir, Goran, Uča and Marija**, as well as to all the other people involved in the organization of the camp, who, with their work, openness and support, enabled the members of the Doboj club to be part of this great badminton story.
