On April 25, 2026, Doboj will host the fourth edition of the international badminton tournament **Sertini Open – NO DIFFERENCE**, organized by the Sertini Doboj Badminton Club. This sporting event brings together competitors of different ages and levels of play, and year after year, it has seen increasing interest from participants from the country and the region.
The competition will be held at two locations – in the hall of the “Vuk Stefanović Karadžić” Primary School, where players of categories C and D will perform, and in the hall of the Doboj Medical School, which is intended for beginners. The organization will be implemented on a total of six courts (4 + 2), which ensures a high-quality and dynamic course of the tournament.
The tournament includes the disciplines of men’s and women’s singles, men’s, women’s and mixed doubles. A separate segment of the competition consists of beginners, divided into two groups – up to 13 years of age and older than 13 years of age. The organizers emphasize that participants who compete in the beginner category cannot participate in other categories, nor vice versa, in order to ensure equal conditions for all competitors.
The tournament is given special value by its inclusive dimension. **”The Strongest Children of Doboj” – children with developmental disabilities, who are active members of the club, are the hosts together with the organizers this year**, sending a strong message that there really are no differences in sports and society.
Medals and cash prizes were provided for the best participants, as well as numerous gifts for the competitors. The tournament partner, the Libresse company, traditionally provides gifts for all participating ladies.
The registration fee for competitors is 15 EUR per person, regardless of the number of disciplines, while for beginners it is 10 EUR.
The organizers invite all interested athletes and recreational athletes to register via the official website, noting that the number of places is limited.
