Small Badminton Club Sertini Doboj experienced an extremely cordial visit from friends from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. On Saturday, Deputy Ambassador Miao Dake and members of the embassy visited the club and spent an unforgettable time socializing through the sport of badminton.

The visit was simple, informal and filled with friendship. Our small token of appreciation, along with appropriate gifts for our new friends, and a “friendship plaque” marked the beginning of Saturday. In addition to playing friendly matches, we had the opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about badminton traditions and culture in China. This visit illuminated our club and gave us the opportunity to make new friends and broaden our horizons.

Deputy Ambassador Miao Dake showed openness, but also exceptional knowledge and skills in badminton, which inspired our players to dedicate themselves even more to this sport. Through friendly matches, the players had the opportunity to learn new techniques and strategies, which will certainly help them in their further progress and development.
After the matches, we visited the Doboj Fortress together, one of the most important historical sites in our city. The excitement and satisfaction was visible on the faces of everyone present, as we had the opportunity to explore the rich past of our city and share that value with our friends from China.
The director of the Doboj Medical School expressed her cordiality to the visit and expressed great satisfaction that in such a short time Badminton Club Sertini Doboj is taking sure steps.

In addition, the Badminton Tournament Sertini Open 2024 will be honored by the arrival of players from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, who have shown exceptional knowledge when it comes to the sport of Badminton.

This visit once again shows that the great people of China have room in their hearts for the sincerity shown by the citizens of Doboj, members of the Sertini Doboj Badminton Club.
