The visit of Milica (BK Novi Sad) and Milan Barbir (Badminton National Team of Serbia) marked the beginning of an exciting chapter in badminton in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in Doboj! Their presence brings fresh energy and knowledge that will enrich the local badminton scene. During the two-day visit, this famous badminton couple not only visited, but also actively participated in the events, highlighting their openness and dedication to the sport of badminton.
The strongest children of Doboj, participants of the Badminton for Inclusion project, warmly welcomed Milica and Milan, showing them exceptional hospitality. In addition, the youngest badminton players had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of them, and with the professional guidance of coaches from Serbia, they further improved.
Our friends Najjača Djeca Doboj presented them with appropriate gifts and certificates of appreciation, Dario Milačak along with Salet, Dušica and the team also gave a small sign of attention, and Mladenko presented a drawing (handwork) to Milan as another added value.
Milan Barbir, as the head coach of the Serbian badminton team, and Milica Barbir, vice-champion at national and international competitions, inspired everyone present with their presence, but they left with our energy, overjoyed with what they experienced and felt our sincerity. Their experience and knowledge were invaluable to all participants.
At the end of the day, adults had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable moment through competition with each other, and they also had the opportunity to learn from top professionals.
This visit by Milica and Milan Barbir will leave a deep mark on the badminton community of Doboj!
