Li Ning Youth International Zagreb 2025.
At the international tournament **Li Ning Youth International Zagreb 2025**, which brought together more than 400 male and female competitors from numerous European countries, representatives of the **Badminton Club Sertini Doboj** and **Badminton Club Banja Luka** worthily represented Bosnia and Herzegovina and showed that domestic badminton has solid foundations and prospects.
In the women’s competition **U17 (WS)**, **Emilija Marčeta, Aleksandra Vučan and Ivana Miljanović** performed, playing notable matches against their peers from Luxembourg, Ukraine, Croatia and Switzerland. Although the competition was extremely strong, the BiH representatives showed fighting spirit, technical readiness and sportsmanship, confirming the progress and quality of work in their domestic clubs.
In the men’s competition, **Jovan Đukanović** and **Kosta Mihajlović** in the **U15** category played quality matches against representatives of Croatia, while the youngest competitors, **Leon Nikić** and **Nikša Đurić Ristić**, in the **U11** category achieved a place in the quarterfinals and played an excellent match against a pair from Turkey. Although they lacked a little sporting luck to advance to the semifinals, their performance represents a significant result and valuable experience for future competitions.
Participation in this tournament is of great importance for the development of badminton in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it allows young players to gain international experience and further improve their game. The work and dedication of the clubs **BK Sertini Doboj** and **BK Banja Luka** confirm that domestic badminton is progressing in a direction that promises new successes and generations of talented athletes.
**Badminton Club Sertini Doboj** provided its members with entry fees to participate in this competition, thus once again demonstrating its commitment to supporting the development of young players and enabling them to participate in international sporting events.
