The historical event of the region was crowned with the final tournament within the “Badminton for Inclusion” project.

“There is no difference” – under this powerful slogan, Badminton Club “Sertini” Doboj, in cooperation with Badminton Club Banja Luka, successfully realized the final tournament of the project “Badminton for Inclusion”. This historic event in Doboj was a true manifestation of inclusion and multi-ethnicity.

“The strongest children of Doboj”, children with developmental difficulties, took part together with their peers from Badminton Club “Sertini” Doboj and Badminton Club Banja Luka. The pairs competition, where each pair was composed of one child with disabilities and one school child, symbolized unity and togetherness, showing that in Badminton there really is “No Difference”.

The intense representation of multi-ethnicity and gender at this event was a strong indicator of how sport transcends all borders and barriers. Each child with disabilities received gift packages, thank-you notes, badminton rackets with balls for permanent ownership, and “gold medals”, which further encouraged the atmosphere of inclusivity and equality. Thanks to our generous donors and the children’s parents, the project was more than successful and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
