On May 31, 2026, the third sports and educational meeting within the project “Social Network = Badminton Network” was successfully held in Doboj, which brought together the largest number of participants since the beginning of the project.
In addition to children and young people from Doboj, the event was attended by our friends and partners from Živinice, children and young people with developmental disabilities together with their parents, as well as representatives of other sports teams, including volleyball players, basketball players and numerous other young athletes.
During the meeting, badminton activities focused on teamwork, cooperation, communication and mutual trust were implemented, while the educational part was dedicated to digital safety, responsible use of social networks and the importance of creating a safe environment for young people.
The fact that the project involved a larger number of participants than originally planned is particularly pleasing, which confirms that young people recognize the value of such activities and want to be part of positive changes in their communities.
We would like to thank all the participants who contributed to the success of this event with their presence, energy and smile. We express our special gratitude to the youth and partners from Živinice, children and youth with developmental disabilities and their parents, volleyball players, basketball players, representatives of other sports clubs, volunteers, parents and all friends of the project who showed that sport can be a powerful tool for connecting people, breaking down prejudices and building better relationships among young people.
After three successfully implemented sports and educational meetings, the project is entering its final phase. The final event is planned for **Saturday, June 13, 2026**, when Doboj will once again host partners and participants from Živinice.
As part of the final meeting, a final lecture on the topic of digital security, a final badminton tournament, a presentation of the project results, as well as a ceremonial awarding of plaques and recognitions to all participants who contributed to the implementation of the project “Social Network = Badminton Network” will be organized.
The organizers invite all participants, parents, partners and friends of the project to support the final event with their presence and together celebrate the successful implementation of the project, which connected young people from different local communities through sports, inclusion and education.
